Zeus disheartened by the sacrifice of his faithful messenger, Iris, granted to his favored mortals the powers of the rainbow to continue her (Iris') mission, the promise of the gods and goddesses, to keep the peace among humanity. And only through the chosen few, of which the colors of the rainbow shall emerge, one generation to the next, shall Iris rise once again to restore and keep the divine promise.
