A Wish to be Granted

Yuichiro is a peasant living in a broken-down cottage, alone with no one but his abusive mother. They stay alive off of stealing and selling wool and woven clothing, and Yuichiro will never be happy like this. Though there is something his mother doesn't know, that no one knows, he has a comfortable place right in the deepest parts of the shockingly beautiful forest, a lovely little garden with an enchantingly wonderful and comforting wishing well built there, forgotten by the rest of the world. One warm spring day, he meets a sweet little boy that he had grown up fearing along with the rest of the royal family, and his life-long dream came true, through the hands of what was supposed to be an evil vampire.

Mikaela has forever been lonely, yes, he had everything he could ever want and power over every human he meets, but he isn't like his brothers, he can't be happy without a friend. Everyone he meets fears him, and the rest of the vampires are distasteful, but then against all odds, he finds comfort in a little human boy is age out in the middle of the forest.

Now that they've met each other, they couldn't imagine a world without the other, but staying together in a happy, comfortable relationship is harder than expected.
