In just two weeks, she had captivated me into her spell. I was in love.
Her dark blue eyes stared at me, mixed emotions running through those beautiful orbs that I'd come to love so much. Realizing that, guilt washed over me again. I was conscious of what I had just done and I didn't know what to think of it. Shouldn't I be happy?
Another sob escaped her lips and I felt something churn in my stomach. No, not the good churn I usually had around her. This was bad.
"Alessia, please, you've got to underst-" She shook her head and broke away from my grip. She gave me one last look of betrayal before slapping me. By the time I looked back at her, she was already walking away.
I stood there, watching her, knowing that even chasing her would result badly. For both of us. I don't know how or when or even why...but, somehow, I'd fallen in love with her these last two weeks.
