What is this mess? Well, let me tell you...
It is a narrative about a dysfunctional family. Abernathy Hell had one son, Alex, but he wanted more. So, he adopted... A LOT. Only to raise a crime syndicate who launder murder through family entertainment.
But... one does not just get away with murder without a brilliant lawyer who has no qualms about patricide. Alex IS that lawyer. However, when he encounters Detective Harold everything starts burning down around him. How do you best a cop who sees right through you? Alex is about to find out.
Meanwhile, Morgan and Mitchell, an adopted set of twins, put a group of people through excruciating deathtraps 'til only two of them are left: a maintenance specialist named Sydney and a teenage girl named Josephine.
But wait, there's more, the government suspects that Angela Hell, the youngest adoptee, is making people disappear. They send a corporate spy to investigate by the name of Geode. However, Geode is about to learn more about the Hell family secrets than anyone is supposed to know.
And to top it all off, why not add an apocalypse? The Earth is being ravaged by massive earthquakes and what is the last bastion of the government's solution? Hire a family of intelligent psychopaths to rebuild, of course. What, you thought they would be reasonable? Oh no.
This is a wild, chaotic, story about how four neglected rich kids go from murdering their father to the literal rulers of their own dystopian cities. It is a horrific, thrilling, science fiction ride.
