"A gift." One guard says to someone else in the room as he leaves. I groan in pain and scrunch myself into a ball, squeezing my eyes shut. Seconds later I hear shuffling and then someone is beside me. "Y/N?" Asks a voice. No- Bucky's voice. My whole body relaxes and I let out a soft breath. I don't think working for Hydra is something anyone is necessarily proud of, however, when that's all you've ever known, it's not as bad as it seems. MaryJan Holmer has grown up being experimented on, tortured, and tested. She was Hydra's most prized assassin, well, female assassin. She is known as the Alpha Soldier and is better than the Winter Soldier in many ways. What was once believed to be a phantom much like the Winter Soldier was, the Alpha Soldier has been released and back to killing. The Avengers are tasked with hunting and capturing this deadly assassin but there is more to her than Bucky is telling.
