This story takes place during the first act in "A Hidden Purpose."

The Chaotix were having a normal and usual day. When it comes to days like these, they were thinking of things that will keep them from boredom. Especially Vector and Charmy.

But one day, something terrible is happening.

Someone is kidnapping kids in various cities. And what's worse? They even kidnapped Charmy! The Chaotix must find a way to rescue their friend or something bad will happen to him. But that will lead to one question.

Who is the kidnapper?

They nurse her back to health and months later, Melanie gives birth to the very healthy Tracie Orenburg. Years later, Jeff vanished and the Hood returns bringing back the anger Melanie had for the Hood being responsible for her not remembering herself or the one she loves. Upon capturing the Hood, he refuses to give any information regarding Melanie's memory. That's where the story, truly begins.
