Takemichi Hanagaki did everything he can to save his friends and loved ones. He was their hero. Their saviour and light when they were once consumed in anger and darkness.

Their "crybaby hero".

But after Kisaki's death, it seems like he too had reached his limit. Just when he finally completed his mission, he was slowly losing his own self. He was too focused on saving the others, from going back to the future and the past, witnessing every future that befalls upon them that little by little, he was losing the light in his eyes.
