While finishing up Danganronpa 3 I had a thought go through my head. What if Hajime started off as the Ultimate Hope/Despair? What I mean by that is, what if Hajime had all the overpowered abilities of Izuru right off the bat, right when he met Chiaki Nanami. This is my attempt to bring my views to life.



Note: the Danganronpa V3 cast will appear but I will tweak some things, such as Ryoma, who will no longer be the Ultimate Prisoner, just the Ultimate Tennis Pro. Hinata will end up with Chiaki, so no KomeHina, I am not sorry. Also, this story is HEAVILY based upon the story "a student out of time" so go check them out, and give them support.All Rights Reserved

Although he's with kids from school and would most likely get along with them...he feels a strange awkwardness when around them. There's a catch though, Hajime isn't really like the others; he doesn't have an ultimate. Because of that, he thinks the others might look down on him. But there is one student that looks down on him the most, Nagito Komaeda: the ultimate lucky student. He believes since Hajime doesn't have a talent, he's not valid like everyone else and decides to put him down for something he can't control. Hajime just wants to be friends with everyone, but because this inconvenience he's very insecure about being around the others, and distances himself. Then Kazuichi Souda and Chiaki Nanami decide to include him since they feel bad, they just want him to be happy. Hajime starts to open up a bit after hanging out with them a lot, maybe with this new confidence he can get that one stubborn student to finally like him.
