While John blasted Reapers and saved civilizations, Aster dealt with the threats that festered in the shadows, the ones too politically inconvenient for the Council to acknowledge publicly. This time, it was an illegal AI. Rumors whispered through the extranet about a potentially dangerous, sentient program being developed at the prestigious Thessian Science Academy. The Council, naturally, wanted plausible deniability.
