Since departing from the Hyrule region of the great sea a year earlier, Link, Tetra, and the crew of The Shrewd Scout have found themselves adrift. Their seemingly simple task of finding a new land for their people to settle had now proved to seem insurmountable. 

Circumstances only worsen, as Tetra disappears after boarding a strange ship, and Link fails to save her. Washed ashore on an unfamiliar, Link is now separated from Tetra, the crew, and his family. 

But he is no longer the scared young boy of Outset, but a victorious hero, seeking to fulfill a divine mission of the goddesses. To these seas however, he is not the hero of winds.
