Aleckzandr SonRalyens passed away in a car accident caused by drunk driving when he was 16 years old. During his afterlife he is accepted into Heaven and gradually rose through its ranks.
Visiting the human world below was forbidden, though he disobeyed that law constantly. During one trip down Alec was reunited with an old friend after saving him from a burning building. However, this ended up costing Alec his Grace since he had violated such a strict law multiple rules.
He is sent to assassinate Jace Maxwell, a cocky, arrogant and sarcastic 17 year old, to prove that he is capable of fulfilling orders. However, Jace seems to have side tracked his assignment.
