As humans, we communicate. We make friends. Some of these friends drop like flies the minute we show our true colors, while others, turn into family. Once they have become family, it is our duty to make sure that they are always alright. To put their needs before our own. Because they are all we have to get through this crazy roller coaster life. So, they always come first... Right?

For 16 year old Calliope, this will always be a known fact. Callie, as most people call her, is a people pleaser of the highest degree. She spends her days keeping people happy. Callie has learned over time that deliberately avoiding her own issues by distracting her self with those of her peers, works quite well. Of course, denying her own sisters death can only work for so long.
