"Come in" Erica didn't wasted any moment and opened the door to her father's study room. The moment she entered she felt something wasn't right. Her father qas standing near the window looking outside

"Father i was-" "They know. " Jack interrupted her. He was tired. Tired if all the lies they're hiding. Tired of the guilt and shame he had to face everyday. He knew his life wasn't going to be the same after this, but atleast he would get some moments of peace. The guilty was eating him alive.

"Sorry, what you mean? " Erica asked in confusion but the moment her father turned around and she saw the tears on his cheeks and a photo in his hand, the confusion turned into concer and then disbelief. And suddenly the Realisation of what is father is saying sets in her mind

'They know. '

The only thought she was having her in mind. Her eyes widened and she felt a cold shiver all over her body.

'They know. '

Her mind stopped working but her heart beat increased. She wanted to say something, anything, but it felt like someone was chocking her to death.

Her whole body started shaking. And in the next moment she was on her knees and hands supporting her body. A heavy sob escaped her throat thinking about the consequences she was going to face now.

The life she created for herself was about to get snatched from her hands.
