Since their high school days, Katsuki and Izuku have been in an ongoing competition with each other. Both want to top the Pro Hero rankings. When they corner the villain Overhaul, the question of who is number one finally seems to be settled, until Izuku collapses in the middle of the fight for some inexplicable reason. Shocked, Katsuki discovers that his childhood friend is not a beta as assumed, but an omega. Even more so, one who is just caught off guard by his heat. Katsuki is distracted by Izuku's pheromones and Overhaul overpowers him. Instead of continuing to fight, the villain grabs the green-haired pro hero and disappears with him without a trace. It is not until two years later that the kidnapped Izuku is recovered.
