Bethel Community Church used to be a pillar of the community. Whether it was Civil Rights, Workers rights, support for the poor, or just about any important work in the city, this church was the key to community revitalization.

But Old Reverend Harris died without leaving a successor and no one wants to pastor the church. Until Elliot James, a career student who is mooching off of his good friend attorney Jeremy Williams applies for the job.
