The story takes place in a distant future, where most humans have evolved to possess supernatural powers known as quirks. These quirks give people unique abilities, and while some people uses them for good deeds, others decided abuse them for their own needs. Thus, "heroes" have appeared in this society, whose job is to use their quirks to stop evildoers or "villains."
If one is talented enough, they get a chance to enroll Monarch Academy, one of the elite hero schools. Most students come to the school to become a hero, while some has other goals in mind. As these students train their quirks and learn what it's like to be a hero, will they able to successfully graduate Monarch Academy and become a hero, or will they use their powers for other matters?

When you get accepted into the nation's top academy to better understand your quirk, you hope it will bring you the answers you've been looking for in life. As an adopted eighteen year old with no memory before your adoption, the questions of your past aren't at the top of the list of things you think you'll discover at college, but little did you know, that was the least of what you'd find.
