Mal Just Lost her pup of almost a year, Leonardo, due to it repulsing against an officer when he tried to arrest Luke For no reason. Plus within a couple of days she got dumped by her now Ex-BF John. When Luke see's how Mal is feeling and realizes that he needs to confront her about some things he doesn't know how to approach it. When Mal see's how Luke is acting strange around her since her recent break-up and situation with her pup she has no clue what is happening anymore in her life and wants to hide away.
