After the 'Ascension, all the magical beings and creatures retreated to the clouds, never to interfere in the affairs of mortals again. Over the centuries, there have been many who have broken the rule of no interference. Those interferences are known to the mortals as 'Fairy Tales', 'Myths', and 'Legends'. The Magical beings that caused the interferences suddenly disappeared with no trace.
Over the centuries, the beings and creatures that now reside Above the Clouds, have taken mundane, almost mortal lives. Some have never lost touch with who they are; while others have forgotten completely.
The generations who grew up in Above the Clouds have no understanding of what their purpose is or what their abilities do. They live completely oblivious as to what they can do, and the people of the World Below.
