Semi-Mature content! (this book is inspired by the selection series by kiera cass! i didn't come up with the characters or the premise, but it is my own timeline and story, the book is inspired by aphmau's mystreet series on youtube, hence the characters). When a prince comes of age in the country of Illea, where everyone is set into castes, 35 women-one from each province, is picked to compete in the competition of a lifetime, for the crown of the princess and future queen of Illea. Aphmau Shalashaska has no desire to become a royal, much less even meet the prince, but finds that, perhaps he isn't anywhere near as bad as she thought, and she finds something far better than she ever expected. Love!

If there was a competition to win the prince's heart and become the queen wold you enter? it seems like a simple answer, but not for Emily. Emily is a six, which means she has been looked down upon and shunned by society for her whole life. her mother beleives the only way to change this is to enter the upcoming competition. Sure it will solve their money problems for a while but is it worth all the constant attention, and not all positive. anyways, by watching the report every friday for her entire existence she has learned that the prince only cares about appearances and what social caste you are in. Will Emily risk it all to save her family? Is she wrong about the prince or is he as self-absorbed as he seems? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The book was inspired by The Selection which was written by the amazing Kiera Cass. I highly recommend reading her books you won't regret it! Xx
