    News of the wealthy gentleman Travis Valkrum's arrival at Phoenix Drop had caused excitement to arise around town. A couple who were also included in that large group of excited people, Mr. and Mrs. Phoenix, decided to throw a ball in celebration of Travis's arrival with the hopes of introducing their five single daughters to him. Travis's heart was stolen by the oldest Phoenix daughter, Katelyn. 
    
    There was also another man attending the ball who'd gotten the attention of many with his pride and distant personality. He was no other than Travis's best friend, Aaron Lycan. Aaron and the most lively and daring Phoenix, Aphmau had gotten off on the wrong foot because of a rude comment Aaron had made about her. 
    
    But in time, this relationship shaped by pride and prejudice will start going down a different path..
