The Moreao family moves from London, England to Manhattan, New York after Lewis, the father, loses his job and the whole must suffer from his actions.

The four daughters are trying to stay optimistic about the new opportunities but its hard.

After Juliette's younger sister, Clarissa, wandered off while shopping with her mother and aunt, she is lost in this new big city. But thankfully, Jack Kelly found her and helped her look for her family.  Juliette's and her cousin got some hookups and we're brought to the Newsboys lodging house where Jack was with Clarissa.
