Born in American, Alpha and Ryan have both different families, one is from supernatural and other is from military. Both families met at park in American, the Jackson Family find out that Blackfire/Blackice Family are werewolves, but Jackson Family didn't mind and kept it secret from others. Alpha and his family had to move back to Kyoto, Japan because that where Blackfire/Blackice Werewolf Clan territory is at, so Alpha and Ryan promise each other they will meet again and also both find out they both hold powerful sacred gear, Ryan Jackson sacred gear that house dragon in it name Nergigante and Alpha Blackfire sacred gear that house multiple dragons in it name Elemental Dragons, but Alpha have three more sacred gear that are powerful as well. Then tragedy hit Blackfire/Blackice Family that horde of stray devils kill Alpha and his siblings parents and also Alpha Twin brother disappear after the death of their parents but friend of their family adopted them, now Alpha want to get stronger to protect everyone that he care about in his life. Ryan father who was marine and his mother who was medic in the military that had to transferred to Kuoh, Japan for military reason. Having to move to Kuoh, Japan Ryan and his family was going good but tragedy hit that both of his parents was killed in suicided bomber that happen on military base they were at. Now living alone in Ryan house, but he wasn't exactly alone because he have partner name Nergigante. Now Ryan have powerful sacred gear that is stronger then three Heavenly Dragons, Ddraig, Albion, and Draex.
