Mayumi is one of the artificial intelligence experiments in the 'White Room'.

She became the best experiment just like Kiyotaka. They are both called Masterpieces in the 'White Room'.

However, one day Mayumi is kicked out of the 'White Room' due to her poor and declining grades. Though Mayumi deliberately did that to get out of the 'White Room'.

Mayumi is returned to her parents, but they are shocked and saddened by the changes after leaving the 'White Room'.

Finally Mayumi tries to live as a normal child, although she still can't.

At the age of 16, Mayumi moved from her old high school to Koudo Ikusei (ANHS) because she was always being bullied.

And unexpectedly, Mayumi meets Kiyotaka again.
