After leaving thier abusive parents and ending up stuck in a small, remote village in Romania, Salem finds themselves living with Maria and her two daughters. The place was eerie and oddly religious, and even more strangely Salem has no sense of time here. To keep track of the time that has past, Salem has kept a journal ever since arriving. Things have been getting stranger and stranger in the village lately. Salem starts to feel as of something is constantly watching them after taking a walk through the Beneviento garden. Salem then beginsto have disturbing dreams involving the people they love. Something about the Beneviento house is drawing Salem in, and they have to get to the bottom of it.
