Spending a summer in one of Massachusetts' costal towns would sound like a dream to anyone. Anyone...except for Charlie Wicker. Unfortunately, given Charlie's troublemaking track record his parents no longer trust him to be alone for the summer thus force him to join their summer holiday. Charlie has no desire to spend the summer at his family's summer house trapped with his parents, as they monitor his every move.
To make matters worse every summer his parents' friends the van der Berg's also join along for the holiday. The cherry on top is Arie, the van der Berg's son who is often referred to as Blondie due to his distinct white hair. Blondie is a sweet, bubbly, energetic soul who is eager to befriend Charlie. Only, Charlie thinks Blondie to be a ditzy, over-bearing, nuisance and has every intention to avoid him all summer. Although, assumptions are very rarely accurate, and Charlie just might begin to learn that fact throughout the summer.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
