Life of a Card

It is said that most people who win at a game of cards usually have the luck and frankly, I disagree.

Alyna Smock didn't have a normal childhood. She got one that involved the tricks and licks of cards and that's okay because if though her father wasn't and still isn't suitable to be a father; he taught her something and that was to play cards. And she took that lesson and became one of the most loved pro players around the country. Now, she has her own business and her father thrives at his casino; everything seems to be coming into place. 

Unlike Doug Learson, his life seemed to have dropped further down the shadows after Alyna's talent shone and he got kicked off the tables. Years later, he's gotten a tad desperate and with the bank threatening to take away his house, he needs a stable job. So in a desperate attempt at getting that stable job, he applies for Smock Enterprises.

. . . And let's just say, things get pretty out-of-the-chicken-sack from there.
