Unlike most others, Starla doesn't want to be a Loomian Trainer. She wants to wake up without fear of losing a battle or back pain from camping - she wants to live life as she wishes, returning to a warm bed every night and waking up to do some mundane job that didn't require her to put her life or sanity on the line.
And that is what the Fila Re make Starla believe...until she wakes up to a prophecy written in gold cursive on her hand, a talking Luxoar at the foot of her bed, and the local professor filing a missing person's case.
Forced to take up the mantle of a Loomian Trainer, she sets out into the world of Roria to decipher the prophecy upon her hand and find the professor's lost son on the way.
It is because of this that she delves deep into a Roria that not even its best explorers have seen - a land of myths, legends, and a broken society.
And if she is to succeed in both her quests, she must act rationally - for step-by-step her innocent adventure is spiraling into a plot far more mythological and sinister than she ever could have imagined.
