White Space
It was supposed to be just another job for Combat Search and Rescue. Another day, another missing person. The place is remote, sure, but then again, every place where people get lost is remote. But Europa is different. It's cold. The days are white and the nights are dark, and it's only populated by scientists and weirdos. Soon, Corporal Yemon Sears has to realize that this time, it isn't enough to save everyone on the satellite. He'll also have to outrun the menace that was unintentionally set loose on the icy hell that is Jupiter's coldest moon. Inspired by '80s sci-fi horror. Will the other planets of the solarsystem be able to get answers on how to cure their friends from the mutation or will Earth and Neptune die from it? Read to find out! God, thats horrible. Our parents always loved the planets, that's why we got our names. She loved them for it. Our parents started a mission to send us into space. He hated them for it. Our parents sent her to space as an experiment. He stayed behind on Earth. They lost her. I couldn't come back. I've been looking for her for three years. I haven't seen him for three years. ❖ Interstellar pilot and ex-adventurer Alex Gallegos must keep their team safe on an icy moon as sentient storms threaten to repeat the tragedy that ended their last career. ❖ Everyone in the United Inhabited Solar Systems (for some reason, UIS for short) knows to stay away from Mahaha. The icy moon is notorious for failed probe landings and research missions that end in tragedy: the only people to ever venture to its surface needed rescuing after just two weeks. When a prestigious research group decides they want a turn, they ask Alex Gallegos to lead the team. Perfectly qualified and haunted by their past, Alex accepts, hoping to make up for old mistakes and get just a little further from the earth they've left behind. Two months into the seven-month mission, the team is struggling with discontent, damaged equipment, and blizzards acting less and less like normal weather. As Mahaha moves out of range of help and the storms take on a more malicious character, Alex must face the one foe they could never have prepared for. Mahaha may or may not be alive. ❖❖❖ Complete.
