           Kai is a lonely soul, forced into solitude by his condition, agoraphobia caused by PTSD from his CIP. He lives alone in a large house untouched by the outer world until Violeta is sent to take care of him. After years of no human contact his social skills are awkward and offsetting. His moody and cold facade dissolves slowly over time as he realizes that there's a life beyond isolation.
