Sienna's Mom, Mila, has a best friend, Anne, who she's known her entire life. As Mila and Anne got older and life started getting in their way, they did not see each other as much as they did as when they were teenagers.

To reconnect their relationship, they bought neighboring houses in Lake George so that every summer they would see each other and bond. These houses have brought the two families closer than ever for the past few summers. Anne also has a son Sienna's age, which seemed to work out for the two old friends.

Or that's what they think anyways.
