This story is about the daughter of Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange, Skyra M. Riddle, who was kept young by a Time Turner (not all Time Turners affect time, some affect age). It was all a mask, of course, and it chafed at her, making her feel pressured and overly bubbly, like a bottle of butterbeer being shaken. It was bound to wear thin someday and peel off, this mask of hers, she reasoned. Why not now? A stack of books. That was all anyone ever seemed to see in Scorpius Malfoy, because he was never seen without one- often his thin face would be completely hidden by thick, musty old tomes. Even after going on that completely MENTAL time-traveling adventure with Albus Potter and having his birth status confirmed, Scorpius was still "that odd Malfoy kid," while Albus himself had suddenly become a Hogwarts icon. This made Scorpius feel second-best to a former fellow loser- never a good feeling. But he was bound to distinguish himself someday, he reasoned. Why not now? Scorpius Malfoy and Lily Potter. Two adolescents who were trying to break free from predetermined images that had been thrust upon them. Their only obstacles? Each other.

No one's ever said it out loud but I know the truth. I'm the dark lords daughter. That's a hard reality to cope with, but at least I have my best friends by my side. I've lived my whole life in Malfoy manor so Draco is hands down my best friend. And of course my other best friend, Orion Black, Regulus Blacks son. The three of us, inseparable. Things get hard though as we leave for Hogwarts and it leaves me to navigate the world being Voldemort's secret daughter. This is a redo of a story I write a while back called secret child of bellatrix lestrange. The plot I plan to keep similar but I am cutting out her being bellatrix's daughter just cause I want it to be her and Draco and if she's bellatrix's daughter that's basically incest and it's just icky. But yah I hope you enjoy and I hope this writing is better than the last version of this I did.
