After receiving a large case file regarding the Promise Killers, a murderous league that solely murders the fathers of innocent families, L Lawliet travels to Tokyo. Fearing the killers, the number of officers and detectives drops considerably, leaving only four burned-out detectives and L to deal with this heavy case. 

(Y/N L/N), a determined female detective working on this case in honor of her mother's final wishes, recognizes how unconventionally L works on this case as he finds something strange about her entire presence. Assuming he suspects she's a member of the cunning league, he monitors her daily to see whether she's a murderer or not, but the chances of her being a killer are slim, so what is it about her that makes her strange? Why is it that he feels unusual when she's around?

Could it be possible...for the world's greatest investigator, who stays awake for 107 hours staring at surveillance cameras, to fall in love with someone he's just working with for a short time? What shall L Lawliet do? He was at a loss for what to do in this case.
