After a long journey through the forest and Mountains snufkin and moomintroll was able to find the magic forest they were looking for, after that snufkin took moomintroll back to moominvalley. although momma moomin was happy to see snufkin and moomintroll alive she banned moomintroll from going on adventures and told snufkin he was no longer allowed to see Moomintroll anymore but he could only visit him when if moomin mama is with them or if papa moomin was with them as well. Snufkin who was upset with they're decision but agreed. snufkin who isolated himself noticed that he was starting to fade away. moomintroll sneaks away with little my and smorkmaiden to find snufkin and stop him from fading before it's too late
