Please tell me this doesn't sound like some shitty romance novel:
Sylvia had moved to London to escape. Whether it was her snooty sister, her lying, uptight step-dad, her wishy-washy mother, her cheating boyfriend, or her backstabbing best friend, she needed to leave her demons behind. When she left she made a promise to herself; No parties, no drinking, no social life at all. It would just be her and her work in progress book. Until she met Dan, an up and coming YouTuber.
It does doesn't it? Great... Now can someone please tell me how my pathetic, shitty excuse for a life became something you only find in works of fiction?

Eventually Phil finds out about Dan's previous sugar daddies and there is conflict, he thinks Dan is using him. Dan does all he can to win Phil back and show him he's different now! But it all turns dark when her friends have dark secrets of their own and Addi's voice returns. Can she get through this, or is it all coming to a drastic end? I also just want to say that this is the first story I ever completed and at the time it was hard and I was proud of my efforts, but now I hate it and cringe just thinking about it. I hadn't had a plan when writing and just went as I wished to. I won't unpublished this as a basic point to see how far I've come when writing other works, but this isn't something I've continued to be proud of.
