Trinity Holland stares at the screen in horror when she sees her barely recognizable, bruised, and bloodied face flash across the television. She scrambles to turn up the sound as the female news anchor delivers the news that brings her world crashing down. We interrupt your regularly scheduled program to bring you a breaking news story. It has been reported that Willie Lee Curtis Senior has escaped from a maximum-security Alabama prison and has been on the run since approximately 2:30 this morning. Curtis was serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole for the murders of 3 young women and the assault of then activist and student journalist Trinity Holland. Holland interviewed Curtis back in 2003 when the self-professed "White Christian Separatist" and members of his church were involved in a bloody brawl at a civil rights march at the State's capital. Curtis plead guilty avoiding the death penalty and was sentenced to life in 2006. All the years of coping with the sleepwalking and night terrors, are null and void in a matter of seconds. Over 15 years have passed and it's like she narrowly escaped with her life just yesterday. First, the love of her life rejects her and now, the nightmare of her past threatens her present-and future. Will the man that stormed out of her hotel room and her heart less than an hour ago help her battle the same demons that made her fall in love with him in the first place. Or, will she truly have to face her biggest nightmare alone?

He straightens his posture, his tone is even, voice calm and his eyes soften. "If," he raises a finger at me, slows his speech slightly and enunciates more. "I recieve more than a little trouble from you. I will, give you what you deserve. That is my final word." He quickly spins away from me and walks down the hall to the other side of the house.
