A rewrite of my first story, "Superman Man of Steel."
The growing Clark Kent is hailed and challenged by dangerous forces to prove humanity's worth. This test will put him up against rich men, corrupt men, monsters, and many forces of evil that will test even his own relationship with humanity. In the end, his actions are what decides the fate of everyone on earth and... krypton?

Superman V Batman: Dawn Of Justice
Clark Kent's mission to save the world isn't going as well as he wants, especially since his last run in the red cape ended up with him having to face a powerful tyrannical General from his home planet Krypton and razing half of Metropolis to the grounds in the process. Just when he seem to have the situation under control, everything changes with the mysterious arrival of the famous Dark Knight of Gotham in town. In truth, Clark's problems may have just really begun. A god, an angel, even a menace; those are some of the things Bruce Wayne have heard people call the supposed Man of Steel. Deep down, he knows those words are insufficient in describing the red-caped seemly all-powerful being. Determined to satisfy his curiosity, he travels to Metropolis in order to have a face to face with Superman. What Bruce doesn't know is that more than just fate may be at work. Have you ever wondered what it's like being the only Kryptonian on earth without powers? It sucks. I'm Marinette Martha Kent. Yup that's right I'm the daughter of the man of steel....and I mostly take after my mom, so I'm utterly completely human. The worst part of being my father's daughter is I can't be a hero. His excuse is I don't have powers while there are heroes such as Green Arrow and Batman. An alien with no powers equals a worthless alien, and the entire justice league knows it to after all my father said so. At least I have my brothers who believe in me... I'm lying no one in my family thinks I can be a hero I'm just a dumb human to them. What's worse is even the bat family won't help me because they secretly agree, or at least that's what I think. So I did what any normal human would do when in an environment that doesn't believe in them I left. I applied for a 2-year foreign exchange program in France starting my high school year. Sure, he's incredibly powerful, but he always found himself at odds with his ingenious brother Lex, competing for their father Lionel's approval and attention. Rather than hiding behind nerdy glasses (don't come for me, y'all, I love nerdy Clark Kent), Clark Luthor's upbringing turned him into something much darker and more dangerous. But this story isn't really about him, it's about the shy and quirky girl who seems impervious to death or permanent injury who unfortunately gains his attention.
