Crystal Meyers is one of the 213 people left on the polluted, destroyed, and practically lifeless Earth. Thirty-two years ago, Crystal's mother and father were two of the 100 people sent to Roun, the last place on earth not destroyed by humans or mother nature's fight. Now, Crystal is happy helping her mother prepare the dinners for her zone in Roun among other chores. That is, until she meets Elliot. Elliot is curious as to what lies beyond Roun and the zones. He won't settle for less than an adventure. Elliot convinces Crystal and her friends to discover beyond the fence but Crystal, Elliot, Jackson and Nikki didn't know what they are in for when they leave Roun. Even though people call Roun "The Safe Haven", they learn safe doesn't exist in this planet called Earth.

Along with Axel, a group of teenage boys wake up in a train with no memory of who they are or where they are going. They make up the remainder of the human population. They soon discover they are much further away from home then they thought. When they look outside, they realise the sky is black tinged with blood, the buildings are made of flesh and plumes of smoke escape from the cracks of the scorched grounds. Time does not exist here. Even the sun and moon has abandoned them. They quickly discover they are not alone leading Axel to believe he isn't the good guy after all. Truth to be told, he doesn't even think he's human. When Axel discovers something far worse then he could ever imagine, he knows no matter how much he wants it some stories won't have a happy ending. In fact, this might be the final ending for humans. Trust is a word that can easily be broken through breath, but survival is a word that can only be broken by death. Nikolas Clover's goal was to keep his family safe as they joined the Advors, a group of humans against the Resinix alien race. However escaping from the Proditors, a group of humans who standby the Resinix, would be anything but easy. They lived in a small town in Colombia called Salento located North just off the edge of the Amazon Rainforest. The Advors remained hidden under the tall rainforest trees while the Resinix and Proditors ruled the rest of the Earth with an iron fist. The Clovers lived in hiding as they waited for their moment to leave the Proditor infested town. However, suspicion would soon arise. Escaping would feel like hell, but the thought of surviving would feel inconceivable. ~I've dedicated a song from YouTube that fits well with each chapter to enhance the reader experience if you choose to play it!
