Have you ever had your own journal? One that you either are required to have or just have to get your thoughts out... I do, and it's for when I go to therapy. It was supposed to help soothe me and give me something to talk of when I visited my therapist. Coming from me it means a lot of writing of bad things, sometimes the bad things are all I think about and I write in it every day. It would be horrible if someone read it outside the circle of me and my therapist. I trusted her and that was it, no one else was a loud in. ↞↞↞♛↠↠↠ Everyone makes at least one mistake in their life; if you don't, you're not human. I just happen to be one of those people who make a lot of mistakes. To start with, there were the Rumours. You know, those things that only powerful people can make up? Yeah. Those. They were the beginning of everything that ever went wrong in my life, but also the thing that led me to the end. The Downfall Has Its Perks
"It hurts." My voice was weak and full of pain. The only emotion that I've showed in a very long time. "Don't worry, baby, we got you. Just hold on until we get you better." A new voice chimes in and I groan, rolling my head over to the side. "You can't close your eyes." Even if my most wanted wish was to keep my eyes open, I just couldn't. Against my own will my eyelids pulled down as I force them to stay open. The fight is over and I lift the fight from my body. "No! Rin don't close your eyes. RIN! OPEN YOUR DAMN EYES!" Did you ever fall in love with your best friend? Did you just learn your feelings for them weren't exactly platonic just in time for them to find love elsewhere? What if your best friend was a male, just like you, and he was gay, too, but he didn't like you like that? What if he had had a secret boyfriend for a year and told only you about it and no one else? What if they finally broke up and his ex spread around the school he was gay, effectively outing him to everyone, just to have everyone in the school look down on him and bully him? What would you do? Would you stay around to help him through everything, always being by his side though it caused you so much pain, just to be there for him, or would you give up and leave him, too, for your own sake? ________________________________________________________________________________ I had originally posted this as a one-shot in my one-shot collection, but that particular book isn't getting very much attention compared to my others. I fell in love with this particular one-shot and I feel like I could expand it some. I think it has potential to be some of my best work. So I tweaked the title a little and I'm going to edit it some before I post it again. I'm hoping it gets some attention and you guys want more. I do feel the need to put some warnings here, hoping that you guys will read this first. This story does have mentions of homophobia, bullying, rape and cutting.
