A Vampire Academy story that starts right after Dimitri is taken down at the cave. Rose is having these crazy nightmares about Dimitri telling her to save him. She promises she would. After so much sacrifice she leaves with Eddie and others to Russia for her slay him alone. Dimitri does something that will haunt her forever. She finds out she is carrying a little sunshine. Can she protect it from all strigoi? How is she going to go on with this new discovery? In this story Rose deals with depression, loss, nightmares, and confusion on who she loves and who she will leave behind to deal with Dimitri. It's extremely hard on her and sacrifices have to be made for her sunshine. Its worth it...
