It's 1960 and Lita Caliban, VFD's youngest flaneur and technologist, is in a tricky situation. One of her closest friends has died and along with grief, the fire that took her life has given Lita an opportunity to watch over three plucky and intelligent orphans with a story similar to her own. VFD needs a competent agent; one who can cope with danger, death and destruction. Lita's just the girl they need - but will she and her skills be enough to keep the orphans safe?
There will indeed be danger and destruction... and not everyone will get out alive.

The next day, Nathan tries to find the girl he danced with the previous night, by asking all the girls at Allenwood if it was their mask. Little did he know, that his last choice was Selena. Will Nathan stop bullying her, or will he bully her more? Will her step-mother find out that she left the house? Will Selena get pulled out of Allenwood? What will her step-mother do to her?
