Hyrule
has seen better days; after ganon's defeat the hero of hyrule a.k.a link and zelda must restore their beloved kingdom back, but as Link struggle to remember, and as Zelda struggles to cope with having
link not remember her,link the only thing that remains from their past; but as they grow together more the relationship tells them more than their past-selfs

A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon. The once great kingdom of Hyrule was destroyed by the calamity. But before all it's people could be slaughtered the princess awakened her sacred powers, powers to turn back evil. Unfortunately it was not soon enough for her loyal and caring guardian knight, however his time had not come. Alone the princess contained the calamity to the castle buying her knight, the hero chosen by the goddess Hylia, time to recover from his mortal wounds. For a hundred years the land of Hyrule was threatened by the great calamity, every year the princess seal weakened ever so slightly. After his awakening the former knight turned hero rushed from one end of Hyrule to the next making allies and defeating the calamity and it's servants. The Princess and Her Knight - A Breath of the Wild FanFiction
Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! There will be a sequel. Contains spoilers. I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS OR ANYTHING/MONOLOGUE THAT HAPPENED IN THE GAME, it belongs to Nintendo.
