Hazel gets a mysterious book from the library that she recognizes from her crazy dreams about herself and a friend from another world. When she decides to open the cover, she gets transported to a city called Moon Haven, where she actually meets her friend from her dream.
Hazel soon recognizes her new abilities and completes missions with Ethan for the headquarters and to earn new ones. All in hopes that one day they will be powerful enough to defeat the time villain, Ciaran, who has made it his mission to be the only life left on the planet.

Excerpt only: I quickly run in their direction as my claws elongate into fierce points. I watch as a man in all black strikes down and kills one of the innocent packless men before turning to another.
