Her mother expects her to be perfect. Her father gets angry when she's not. Dawn is bubbly and talkative but has no problem telling you exactly how she feels. She's a small-time artist, who makes a small amount of money, and most of that is spent buying her father alcohol or taking art lessons, but when she meets Luc, a boy with a personality that surprised her so much she wanted to know more all of that begins to change.

He's known as the biggest criminal in all of New York City. Fortunately for him, he works for the Executive Intelligence Agency, where he works undercover with the mask of a criminal to take down some of the biggest traffickers in the United States. He didn't have time for a relationship in his life. He knew this, that's why he turned everyone down. That is until he met Dawn, his best friend, and teammates' little sister. Her personality infuriated him, yet it was alluring all the same.

The day Luc's teammate Jase brought his younger sister into the room specifically for hangouts, was the day their team they'd put together all changed. They both fell hard, but they had to balance work and the overprotective brother. Luc wanted her safe. Asher wanted her into the team. Phoenix wanted to date her. Jase wanted her away, but nobody paused to wonder what she wanted. Nobody ever did really, and she's about to find that out for herself.
