Things take a turn for the worst when something happens to Max during a rock climbing activity. I'm a new Camp Camp fan, with different opinions compared to a chunk of the fandom. He walks so close he's between my legs as I'm still seated on the counter, and the distance between us is all I can think about. "I hate you so much Evens." He breathes out, the warmness of his breath fanning over my lips. "The feeling's mutual, Rivers." Our eyes never break contact, and a suffocating silence takes over the little distance between us. His eyes flick down to my lips and then back up to my eyes. Before I can speak his hands grab my waist and pull me closer to him. A soft gasp leaves my lips but it's silenced when his mouth crashes onto mine and without a second thought I kiss him back. ~~~~~ Caiden Evens isn't normal, he's been in the foster care system since he was three, he has no idea of how he ended up there but after more than 20 different placements over his life he's stopped hoping that his real family might be out there. Has Dadvid and Gwenvid Second book of 'Welcome to Camp Campbell! (Max x Reader) You don't have to read the first book but it might help to make sense on a few parts. This is about when the campers come back home and attend the high school again. (your still 15) Some live in the same town as well. With David and his son Max living across the street from your place, you treat it like your safe haven from your parents and sister your brother isn't bad. You also still hang out with a few other friends from town or the ones you met from camp. David works at a nearby floral shop and Gwen works at the local café, these two still talk and hang out with each other and supporting making each other is okay on almost a daily but weekly call/visit. Especially with David having Max with him, Gwen will always be able to help if he gets out of hand.
