this story is one i wrote for my english class in school. it's about a dystopian world (that i made up) and it's completely an original story and has no correlation with any existing ones. it's relatively fast paced with little to no background information, but i liked it and wanted to share it with other people and thought this was a good place to do it. it follows the adventure of two girls named Annie (readers perspective) and Ace (friend/love interest) attempting to escape where they've been living all their lives due to an accident above ground that destroyed humanity to see the stars. if anyone does end up reading this (i doubt it) and wants to give any feedback or constructive criticism please tell me so i can improve my future writing!! if anyone does end up reading this i hope you enjoy :)

"Well, Mia...come here," She ordered, tilting her head as she spoke to me. Mindlessly, I took a few steps towards her and then stopped, deciding that we were close enough. She took one large step towards me, almost completely closing the gap between us as she towered over me in her heels. She wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me closer, so our fronts were now pressed together. She leaned down to my ear and asked, "Do you want me to take care of you or not?" To get everything back to normal again. Around those cities are small villages were the poor lives. The people who are barely surviving. The major city is called Alancia and that is were Victoria lives. Her father use to be the Leader of Alancia along side with his wife and brother. Until one day his brother killed him in cold blood and locked Victoria up in a cell. When she turned 18 she was offered a deal. Each year Alancia holds a fighting tournament for public display. The biggest and the baddest fight in this tournament and barely make it out alive. She has to fight in this tournament and if she won she had her freedom back. If she lost she would loose her freedom once again. Victoria knows she can't pass up this opportunity up. Even though she would be reminiscing old memories And meeting someone who can ruin it all Whatever the cost is she is willing to fight. This book is is written in the far future were war is raging throughout the world permanently halting all innovations. Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. Also this summary is something to be fixed but until then) A thousand years ago the extermination of Earth from unknown circumstances brought about the end of humanity for the planet. The end of animals, most of nature, technology and everything that advanced in between. After Earth's destruction a new life began with the survivors of the near extinction of humanity. They constructed a singular civilization encased in a wall for protection from outside forces, built on the hope to reproduce and thrive with the life they were forced into. Zykard would be the start of a second life for humans But within that time of rebirth some of the survivors surged with horrors of Pre-Reearth. Heresy, treachery, riots, thefts, murders and revolutions. A need to for order was introduced, and brought about the leader of Zykard and seven factions of ten people. A thousand years later theres a change. An outsider appears and seemingly becomes the new leader of Zykard, bringing more hardships with their hopes. Crimson, a seventeen year old girl faces the verge of adulthood. The final trials being the only gap between her new reality. A new injection to be given to everyone after the trials. She will face the ugly second face of what Zykard really is behind the curtains. Face pain she never thought would be possible and lose what she loves the most.
