this story is one i wrote for my english class in school. it's about a dystopian world (that i made up) and it's completely an original story and has no correlation with any existing ones. it's relatively fast paced with little to no background information, but i liked it and wanted to share it with other people and thought this was a good place to do it. it follows the adventure of two girls named Annie (readers perspective) and Ace (friend/love interest) attempting to escape where they've been living all their lives due to an accident above ground that destroyed humanity to see the stars. if anyone does end up reading this (i doubt it) and wants to give any feedback or constructive criticism please tell me so i can improve my future writing!! if anyone does end up reading this i hope you enjoy :)

In this dystopian world, you can see, via hologram, the last time someone cried. There are people who use this to manipulate and antagonize others. Anna is the center of our story. She's a 16 year old girl who has under gone much heartache due to the dystopian setting. She has made a promise to her older brother, Drew, while he was on his death bed, to protect their younger siblings- a promise she hopes she doesn't break. She is very tough, but fear is a constant no matter who you are. In the story, fear is ruling her; the fear that she's failing Drew. If she, her family, and her neighbors were not in this setting, she'd be perfectly happy. But she can't be happy now, not with everything that's going on.Completa
