Lacey Bennett is a sweet, fun, loving girl with a future ahead of her. Getting good grades and always being on time comes easy to her. She has a caring boyfriend back at home who has always been there for her. But what will happen when she has to go to a whole new school and meet all new people, a certain group being just some of the people?

Then you have Braden Hayes. Brookside High School’s flirty player. With his model-like features, girls come to him from left and right. To just about all the girls, he's the most attractive at the school. He doesn’t even have to try. "Love" is a word that's never came out of his mouth before. And "girlfriend"? Definitely not. With him being with a new girl every weekend, he really doesn't need a girlfriend.

Braden isn't exactly Lacey's type. Players with, what she thinks, no good intentions, aren't exactly something she goes for. With them being so different but yet so alike, they know nothing will ever become of the two.

But something unexpected happens with both Lacey and Braden that is a shocker to pretty much everyone. One night can change a lot for not just them, but both of their groups of friends.

Aurora Astor was convinced by everyone in her family to have an abortion when she found out that her assault had resulted in a child, but much to everyone's shock, Aurora kept the child, and after a long and excruciating labor, on her last breath, she said the word Miracle, which became her daughter's name. After Aurora died giving birth to her daughter, little Miracle was left under the care of her brothers, all of whom blamed her for the tragedy that happened to their mother. But what happens when history tries to repeat itself with what happened to Aurora now threatening to happen to Miracle?
