I guess after the world went to hell they all learned and adapted quickly it wasn't like Earth anymore we lost that thanks to gen Z and gen Alpha but the people that grew up adopting in an odd way soon gained unnatural abilities. for me growing up I always called them candy eyes but to everyone else we are monsters!

Also, if you had the chance to kill an entire race of creatures that have opposing viewpoints would you do it? In this book you get to experience the view points of characters that are part of 1 or more group(s) of people.
