TW// suicidal thoughts, death
L was stuck. He did not know when nor how he became so, yet he felt as though an invisible force was holding him back. He tried with all his might to escape, to somehow free himself from the forsaken land to which he had been cast. He would cry out for help until his voice was hoarse and his throat was drier than the kindle that had set his heart ablaze some time ago...But no one could hear him, for he was alone, isolated, and stuck. He soon learned to live with this empty feeling. He distanced himself from those around him and convinced himself that he must protect others from this cursed affliction.
L was stuck. All he wanted was to be free of the constant darkness shrouding his soul. He knew it was selfish but he could only think of one way to break free of the shackles tethering him to this fruitless reality.
But as fate would have it, he soon learned that it only takes a little light to see in the darkest of places.
[A/N: Hi all, no one asked for it but this is a little Death Note fic I've been thinking about writing. The story will mainly revolve around L, though I will be adding other characters from the original. I honestly don't know how far I'll get with this but I do have an idea for where the story will go. I apologize in advance if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes throughout the chapters, however, I would like to clarify I am by no means a writer and my lack of respect for the English language is sure to be reflected in my work.
Well, that's all from me for now! Take care all and happy reading <3 ]
