When Director Fury notices just how many critical injuries the Avengers are sustaining, he decides to appoint one of the physicians at SHIELD as the team's official in-house doctor. The only issue is, none of them are all that good at dealing with normal heroes, let alone gods, super-soldiers and witches.
That is, until Fury remembers Lisa Webster. She may seem laidback and she may seem like she hates work, but she's the most capable and hardworking of the lot. Only problem is, she doesn't want a promotion and instead tells her boss that she isn't qualified.
Unfortunately for Lisa, she proves that she most definitely is qualified when she efficiently saves an Avenger's life in an emergency. Now that she's out of excuses, she's almost forced to fill the position.
It's not all bad though - while away from her crazy teenage children, she can focus on befriending a band of equally chaotic superheroes. In particular, the man she saved: James Buchanan Barnes.
She's flirtatious, smooth and determined to get close to him; maybe a little closer than close. And if Bucky wants to keep up with her sweet and suave mannerisms, he'll have to revive his 1940s self.

"Yeah, I pity the men and women that fall for our mother. But don't worry, Bucky, you'll be fine."
"I hope so. Uh, Peter mentioned the term 'MILF'. What does that stand for?"
"I-- Peter Benjamin Parker, ladies and gentlemen. Traumatising the elderly since 2001."
When Clary goes after Jace to save him from Sebastian, she doesn't expect to find them bound together and working together. What she expects even less is when she joins with them. Enemies turned friends working against the Clave for the greater good. Or is it? What is stronger, loyalty to the Nephilim or to her own brother?
A Clary and Jace love story with some one-sided Clabastian moments.
