As we go through life, we meet people who leave pieces of themselves within us. They touch our hearts in ways we never expect, changing us little by little until we become someone different. Their footprints stay with us, reminding us that no matter how much we want to, we can never go back to the person we used to be. And then, there was him. We found each other at exactly the right time, as if our paths had always been meant to cross. Loving him came naturally, and in his arms, I found a place that finally felt like home. For a while, everything made sense. It felt like the universe had written our story long before we ever met. But even the most beautiful stories can fall apart.
